摘要
Carbon particles containing iron, nickel and cobalt magnetic nanoparticles (MNP) were synthesized from polystyrene and metal salts using pyrolysis method. The morphology, structural features and magnetic properties of the particles were investigated by emission scanning electron microscope, X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetry and vibrating scanning magnetometer. It was found that MNP, spherical-like of ~25 nm in size, were completely embedded into the carbon matrix, and therefore, they were quite protected against oxidation. The magnetic properties of the products indicated that the nanocomposites were magneto-sensitive that make them promising materials for preconcentration of contaminants from aqueous solutions. Developed approach is simple and can be a more appropriate method to prepare MNP in comparison with that reported to date.
