摘要：
The main problems of spectral estimation are considered. It is shown that these problems arise from sample limitation and finiteness of the frequency band. We suggest that the signal spectrum composition should be described by the distribution function of oscillation density instead of the traditionally used complex spectrum and spectral power density. © 1998 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
