摘要
The systematized design methodology has been proposed for a wireless telemedicine applicable slotted wearable textile antenna in order to enhance medical domain for wireless communication. In order to perform remote diagnosis, this technology proves to be a boon for doctors in telemedicine domains. In this system, a link is established between two points (doctor and patient here as applicable). The system is capable enough to provide real-time medical examination of the patient. Wearable medical devices are used to collect the medical data of patients. The proposed wearable antenna has been fabricated using a denim as a substrate which is a denim fabric. The conducting part had been fabricated using copper. The bandwidth of the proposed antenna is about 92% at the resonant frequency of 3.58 GHz. The antenna is very versatile  offering a frequency range of 1.8–4.87 GHz suitable for applications such as WLAN operating from 2.4 GHz to 2.484 GHz, Wi-Max (2–11 GHz) and LTE operating at 2.17 GHz band. The stated bands are applicable to wireless telemedicine, m-health and e-health applications. The simulations of the proposed antenna have been done using IE3D software.
