To mark the 20th anniversary of the Canadian Journal of Science, Mathematics and Technology Education (CJSMTE), I’d like to take our readers on a trip through time. Throughout this journey, which is punctuated by editorial excerpts and past CJSMTE articles, we will have the opportunity to remember the journal’s origins. What were the intentions of its founders? What would be its defining features? We also take this opportunity to reflect on where the journal is headed today. This voyage, in large part, will focus on the section of the journal dedicated to mathematics education, in French.
