Elastic, anelastic, and magnetoelastic properties of polycrystalline Ni-Fe-Ga-Co ferromagnetic shape memory alloy have been studied by means of mechanomagnetic spectroscopy under thermal cycling in the temperature range from 80 to 300 K. The data obtained point to the presence of reversible thermally induced modifications of martensitic and magnetic domain structures in the alloy studied. © 2009 Allerton Press, Inc.
