摘要
A close correlation and linear regression between precipitation, the field capacity, the permanent wilting coefficient, the range of available moisture (it is equal to the difference between the field capacity and the permanent wilting coefficient), and the storage of available water have been revealed under conditions of dry subtropical climate of the Mediterranean type (the Southern Coast of Crimea, State Nikitsky Botanic Garden, 1981–1990) in heavy-loam and light-loam brown soils under the park plantations of introduced subtropical plants. The significant variation in the hydrological properties of soils and elements of their hydrological dynamics in both time and area, as well as the present cyclicity of the latter have been ascertained. To optimize water/soil dynamics on the southern coast of Crimea, it is necessary to irrigate soil additionally at an amount of 416 ± 188 mm/year.
