摘要
In the course of 2017-2018 archaeological excavations conducted on the territory of Artek International Children's Centre (present-day Gurzuf settlement on the southern coast of the Crimea), the mediaeval complex of Gorzubiai (a church, a cemetery, and a settlement) was investigated. This paper publishes the glass bangles revealed in the church tomb (two specimens) and in slabbed grave 14 at the cemetery (four specimens). We have also analysed a wide range of aspects addressing the ways of wearing of glass bangles and methods of their manufacturing, the date when they appeared and distributed within the Early and Middle Byzantine periods, and the time when they were especially popular.
