This paper discusses an Event-Triggered (ET) control of nonlinear system with time-varying parameters. Based on the modeling technology, polynomial Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy model is applied to represent the nonlinearity. By virtue of Linear Parameter Variation (LPV) model, the parameter depended on time can be modeled by combining the weighting function and linear systems. With the modeling technology and LPV description, the polynomial T–S fuzzy model is built to interpret the considered system. For the stabilization problem, fuzzy controller is constructed via the polynomial gains with time-varying parameters. Moreover, the ET scheme is applied for building a fuzzy controller saving the control cost. For the stabilization problem, a criterion is proposed and Sum of Squares (SOS) algorithm is utilized to find solutions. Finally, some simulations are provided for show the applicability of this paper.
