National strategies for physical activity promotion

Op 13 en 14 november 2009 kwamen vijftig professionals uit vijftien verschillende Europese landen bijeen in Wageningen om kennis en ervaring uit te wisselen over nationale strategieën voor beweegstimulering. De internationale werkconferentie werd georganiseerd door het Nederlands Instituut voor Sport en Bewegen (NISB), in samenwerking met Wageningen Universiteit, ZonMw en WHO/HEPA (European network for the promotion of health-enhancing physical activity). Speciale aandacht ging uit naar het betrekken van groepen met een lage sociaal-economische status (SES). Het programma en de gekozen werkvormen bood de deelnemers uit praktijk, beleid en onderzoek, volop gelegenheid met elkaar in gesprek te gaan.
