The results of the experimental study of heat transfer and hydraulic resistance under forced convection and water boiling in tubes with continuous uniform roughness (formed by a metric imperfect profile thread) are presented; also given are the preliminary data for rough tubes with an inserted twisted band. © Allerton Press, Inc. 2008.
