摘要
Vanita Viswanath argues that long-term food security for rural women requires them to be able to increase their earnings and diversify their income sources. Grassroots Enterprise Management Services (GEMS) for women are non-financial services that help women identify livelihood options, understand elements of management and market that impinge on sustainability of microenterprises as well as be informed about and control the transactions and process of development of micro-enterprises. © 2001 The Society for International Development.
