摘要：
Die Verwendung der Mundschleimhaut zur Deckung großflächiger Harnröhrenstrikturen stellt einen festen Bestandteil in der rekonstruktiven Harnröhrenchirurgie dar. Die Mundschleimhaut hat im Vergleich zu anderen Gewebequellen deutliche Vorteile: einfache Entnahme, gute Urinverträglichkeit und geringe Entnahmemorbidität. Für langstreckige Harnröhrenstrikturen (> 2 cm) stellt die Mundschleimhaut das Material der Wahl zur Rekonstruktion von Harnröhrenstrikturen dar. Wird die Mundschleimhaut in die Harnröhre eingelegt spricht man von einem „Inlay“, wird sie wie ein Patch aufgelegt spricht man von einem „Onlay“. Meistens kann ein einzeitiges Vorgehen angestrebt werden, für komplexe Strikturen wird zweizeitig vorgegangen.
