Total Reflection and Transparent Window in One-Dimensional Duplicated Superconducting Photonic Crystal

The reflectance and transmittance properties of one-dimensional duplicated superconducting photonic crystal (DSPC) are investigated. It is shown that the wavelength-dependent total reflection peaks are established in the spectrum of this crystal. The width of the peaks decreases for small values of incident angles and superconductor’s thickness. The selected total reflected wavelength can be controlled by the temperature of the DSPC. By increasing the incident angle, two reflected peaks establish a Brewster-type dip. The width of the transparent window depends on the number of periods in DSPC.
