摘要
An empirical study aims to investigate the development in the research on the assessment of supply chain agility. Here, a state-of-the-art literature review of research conducted between 2000 and 2017 is presented to provide a comprehensive basis for future studies related to supply chain agility measurement and management. A descriptive analysis and a content analysis of 66 publications in the Scopus and the Web of Science online databases are conducted. The selected articles may prove to be a good starting point for the identification of gaps and issues in the field of supply chain assessment; for example, the effects of investments in information technology (IT) networks and multi-functional resources on supply chain agility and the consequent effects on corporate strategies. Further, there are aspects related to supply chain networks and their performances that are summarised in the last section of the paper as future scope for research.
