The possibility of using in analytical practice novel types of adsorbents for the concentration and determination of heavy metals, based on cellulose filters with complexing reagents attached to the surface, is studied. Picolinic aldehyde thiosemicarbazone is synthesized and immobilized on cellulose filters, and the possibility of using the adsorbents derived for the concentration of heavy metals followed by X-ray fluorescence determination of the elements in concentrates is shown. The effect of various physicochemical factors on the possibility of determining the metals in thin layer concentrates is investigated.
