摘要
ZNF191 is a new zinc finger gene which has a 1107 bp open reading frame (ORF) and encodes a 368 amino acid protein including a putative DNA-binding domain of four Cys2His2 zinc finger motifs at its C-terminal region. The ZNF191 clDNA is located in the chromosome 18q12.1 region where it is known that a variety of hereditary diseases are related to. Probably, this protein has potential function of stimulating the gene transcription.
