摘要
A cis-dioxomolybdenum(VI) Schiff base complex [MoO2L] has been synthesized and structurally characterized. Homogeneous oxidation of olefins using the complex as a catalyst with hydrogen peroxide as oxidant in ethanol solution showed high catalytic activity for this complex. Under reflux conditions, the oxidation of cyclooctene, styrene, α-methyl styrene, 4-methyl styrene and 1-methyl cyclohexene with hydrogen peroxide gave the corresponding epoxides as the sole products.
