Iliacofemoral cross-over bypass. Successful recanalisation with rotational thrombectomy [Iliakofemoraler cross-over-bypass: Erfolgreiche rekanalisation mittels rotationsthrombektomie]

The therapy of occlusions of cross-over bypass grafts is based on well-established surgical procedures and intra-arterial thrombolytic therapy. Using the example of an occlusion of an artificial cross-over bypass graft, the percutaneous mechanical thrombectomy with the Rotarex® system demonstrates the reliable, effective and economical use of this device. This may be an option for recanalisation attempts in patients who are not suitable for surgical or thrombolytic therapy. © Springer-Verlag 2011.
