Optical properties of the polarized Dirac vacuum

摘要：
An investigation is made of the propagation of laser radiation through the Dirac vacuum polarized by a strong electric field. Calculations are made of the refractive index of the vacuum and the angle of rotation of the plane of polarization of the radiation. The possibility of measuring strong electric fields is assessed.
