In the framework of the thermal energy scheme, the growth of a vapor bubble in a uniformly superheated zeotropic mixture of two liquids is investigated. Formulas are derived for the bubble growth modulus and the Jacob criterion, which depends both on the physical properties of the mixture and its composition. The obtained solution for the constant composition of the mixture on the interfacial surface is an asymptotic case that limits the real rate of the bubble growth. The results of calculations made for a mixture of R32/R152a freons of different compositions are presented.
