This paper presents a software system for satellite data processing developed at the Institute of Computational Mathematics and Mathematical Geophysics, Siberian Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences, together with the research center Planeta of Rosgidromet RF. It also describes how this system is used for applied tasks in remote sensing of the Earth. © Pleiades Publishing, Ltd., 2009.
