Features of wave packets in the plane Poiseuille-Couette flow

Within the framework of the triple-deck theory, it is shown that the growth of the relative wall velocity in the Poiseuille-Couette flow leads to perturbations splitting into two wave packets, of which one grows faster and propagates at a higher velocity.
