Three-quark force in p–p elastic scattering

In the framework of Glauber optical limit approximation, considering the proton has an outer pion cloud of radius ∼0.87fm\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$\sim 0.87\;fm$$\end{document} and an inner core of radius ∼0.44fm\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$\sim 0.44\;fm$$\end{document} where the valence three quarks are confined, and including two-gluon exchange three-quark force, a good fit with the experimental data of p–p elastic scattering differential cross section up to q2≈3(GeV/c)2\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$q^{2}\approx 3\;({\mathrm{GeV}/\mathrm{c})}^{\mathrm {2}}$$\end{document}, total cross section and the ratio of real to imaginary parts of elastic scattering amplitude in the forward direction is obtained at laboratory momenta 200, 290, 500, 1070 and 1500 GeV/c. The radii of two-quark interaction rt\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$r_t$$\end{document} and three-quark force rth\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$r_{th}$$\end{document} are calculated. The quant energy representing the gluon Eg\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$E_g$$\end{document} is evaluated.
