Prospects for functionalizing the properties of synthetic fibers with the use of complex salts of metals

摘要：
It is shown that salts of metals can be used to produce different effects in modifying the properties of synthetic fibers. The use of such salts improves the dyeability of polyester and polyacrylonitrile fibers, increases their affinity for acid dyes, alters the electrokinetic properties of their surface, and makes it possible to use complexes of metal cations to give the fibers biocidal properties.
