摘要
This paper describes the paraxial thin lens design of a large magnification compact size zoom lens. Various types of four-component mechanically compensated zoom lenses are compared for their suitability to meet the specific requirements. It has been shown that Type IV Zoom lens is a best choice for this purpose.
