The paper investigates the impact of NPP (nuclear power plant) export projects on the national economies of the supplier and recipient countries. The effects generated on the macrolevel are systematized, and an input—output (I–O) table is used to analyze the methods for estimating the macroeconomic effects of NPP export projects. The macroeconomic effects of NPP projects on the Republic of Korea are explored, and valuable insights are gained to further contribute to the studies on the impact of international NPP projects implemented by the Russian Federation. © 2018, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
