摘要
Polylactic acid (PLA) was toughened by 5–20 wt % of natural rubber (NR). Two different compatibilizers maleated PLA (PLA-g-MA) and maleated NR (NR-g-MA) were used as coupling agent. The blends were prepared using twin screw extruder at varying levels of NR. Mechanical, thermal and morphological analyses were carried out to study the effect of compatibilizer on PLA/NR blends compatibility.
