On Caristi’s fixed point theorem and completeness of probabilistic metric spaces

We show that probabilistic version of Caristi’s fixed point theorem due to Kianoush et al. (Kybernetika 57(1):46–59, 2021) characterize completeness of Archimedean type probabilistic metric spaces.
