The microstructure features of glass ceramic materials of pyroxene composition based on basaltic rock of the Koitash ore field and synthesized in the Big Solar Furnace (BSF) are considered. The effect of different catalysts on the glass ceramic crystallization process is studied. © 2008 Allerton Press, Inc.
