摘要
Polyacrylonitrile membranes with a molecular-weight cutoff of 10 kDa have been exposed to a DC corona discharge field with a view to increasing the performance and separation efficiency of oil-in-water emulsions based on I-20A oil stabilized with Kosintanol-242 surfactants. It has been shown that the exposure to a corona discharge contributes to the hydrophilization of the membrane surface and the surface smoothing of the filtering elements. Corona-discharge treatment parameters that provide maximum performance and selectivity of membranes have been determined. © 2015, Allerton Press, Inc.
