An Observer-Based Resilient Control Method Against Intermittent DoS Attacks for Nonstrict-Feedback Nonlinear Cyberphysical Systems with Tracking Errors Constraint

This paper focuses on the resilient control problem of fuzzy adaptive output feedback for nonstrict-feedback nonlinear interconnected systems with intermittent DoS attacks. When a malicious attacker launches the intermittent DoS attacks, all the output signals of the systems are corrupted so that the traditional backstepping methods cannot be applied to design controller directly. To solve this difficulty, a switched fuzzy state observer is designed by improving the average dwell time method. By introducing the barrier Lyapunov function, an observer-based adaptive resilient tracking control design method is developed, which guarantees the output errors of the systems can be constrained within the specified range regardless of whether the considered systems are attacked or not. Different from the existing results, the designed control method not only deals with the resilient control design problem of the nonstrict-feedback nonlinear systems with tracking errors constraints, but also removes the assumption that the nonlinear functions need to satisfy the global Lipschitz condition. Ultimately, a practical simulation example illustrates the viability of the developed control algorithm.
