摘要
Easy electrochemical procedure to grown cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4) nanosheets from an aqueous medium is demonstrated. A pure spinel phase of CoFe2O4 is confirmed using the X-ray diffraction. The performed morphological and topographical analysis confirmed that the electrochemically grown nanosheets are constituted from CoFe2O4 nanoparticles with spherical shape and are homogeneously distributed in the entire surface of the fluorine-doped tin oxide-coated glass. The optical and Mott–Schottky analysis revealed the elaboration of p-CoFe2O4 nanosheets with a gap energy of 1.48 eV and a donor density of 1.03×1020cm-3\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$1.03\times {10}^{20} \,{\text{cm}}^{-3}$$\end{document}. These findings would make these nanosheets very attractive as anode in lithium-ion batteries.
