Abstract: Calculations of the stress state of a two-layer system of a thermal barrier coating are performed depending on the thermal loading mode and the presence or absence of a temperature gradient over the sample cross section during the thermal resistance test. The calculations took into account changes in the state of the structure of the coating ceramic layer and the sublayer. A numerical model of the thermal barrier coating performance is developed depending on the thickness ratio of the ceramic layer and the sublayer. © 2021, Allerton Press, Inc.
