Development of stresses in grain-oriented electrical steel during laser treatment

摘要
Variation of magnetic losses in grain-oriented electrical steel subjected to single and multiple laser treatments has been investigated. It is shown that successive application of laser barriers in several passes through a laser unit leads to a deterioration of magnetic properties accompanied by a bending of the sample. The surface subjected to the laser treatment proves to be concave. The magnitude of stresses arising in the metal after each step of laser irradiation was calculated.
