60 years of scientific exploits

In this issue, we continue publication of the materials of the 56th International Conference on Nuclear Spectroscopy and the Structure of the Atomic Nucleus, which was held at the Russian Federal Nuclear Center of the All-Russia Research Institute of Experimental Physics (Sarov). This conference was devoted to the 60th anniversary of this institute; therefore, the first paper is devoted to its history.
