Results from field investigations into the processes through which suspended particles are formed in geothermal water as a consequence of upset in carbonic acid equilibrium, as well as processes through which solid deposits of calcium carbonate are formed on the inner surfaces of geothermal equipment, are reported. © 2009 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
