Studying Features of an Fe/Nb-Based Superconducting Spin Valve

Abstract: A study is performed of new Fe2/Nb/Fe1/CoO x and Fe2/Al2O3/Nb/Al2O3/Fe1/CoO x superconducting spin valve structures that operate beyond the classical superconductor/ferromagnet proximity effect. The superconductor/ferromagnet interface in these structures is separated by an additional insulating layer. It is shown that the Fe2/Al2O3/Nb/Al2O3/Fe1/CoO x structures are most promising for further investigations. © 2023, Allerton Press, Inc.
