摘要
The effect of diclofenac sodium, Mexidol, and their combination on Fe2+-induced chemiluminescence was studied in vitro. Diclofenac sodium in the concentration range 10 – 100 μM had a dose-dependent pro-oxidant effect, increasing the maximum intensity and duration of chemiluminescence and the area under the chemiluminescence curve. Mexidol in the concentration range 25 – 500 μM reduced the intensity and increased the duration and quantum yield of luminescence. Combinations of Mexidol (250 μM) and diclofenac sodium (50 and 100 μM) and of Mexidol (25 μM) and diclofenac sodium (10 μM) reduced the chemiluminescence peak as compared to diclofenac sodium at the corresponding concentrations. A combination of Mexidol (25 μM) and diclofenac sodium (10 μM) increased the duration of chemiluminescence as compared to diclofenac sodium (10 μM) alone. A combination of Mexidol (25 μM) and diclofenac sodium (1 μM) did not significantly affect chemiluminescence.
