A method for calculating load distribution over rolling bodies depending on their position relative to the load vector and the bearing ball size is presented. It is shown that, even if the working surfaces retain their original micro- and macrogeometry, an increase in wear significantly deteriorates the dynamic and static bearing capacity of a bearing. Recommendations regarding reduction of wear are presented.
