Application of the ambiguity resolution method of phase GPS measurements for relative navigation of spacecraft

The phase ambiguity resolution method proposed earlier is applied to solving the problem of determining the mutual position of low-orbit satellites using the data of navigation satellites. The results of applying the method of relative navigation using single-frequency GPS receiver for model and experimental data, in particular, using GPS data recorded during the GRACE project, are discussed. The simulation results demonstrate satisfactory quality in estimating the relative coordinates for a base of up to 30 km. © Pleiades Publishing, Ltd., 2010.
