摘要
Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is the best evidence-based form of psychotherapy for various types of psychopathology and life problems. In time, cognitive-behavioral theory has been adapted for other types of interventions, like counseling, mentoring, training, and lately coaching. Cognitive-behavioral coaching (CBC) is a specific approach to coaching, that makes use of both CBT conceptualization for problems and evidence-based tools and techniques. Since there are studies focused on the impact of CBC on different outcomes and there is no quantitative review to analyze them, the purpose of the study is to synthesize the magnitude of the effect size of CBC on behavioral, affective, and cognitive outcomes.
