摘要
The electrocontact method is used as a basis for developing a process to apply a layer of white iron to steel surfaces. The method employs electrocontact chemico-thermal treatment of the surface. Use of the treatment on a steel surface forms a nonporous layer of white iron on it. The treatment can be used both for low-and for high-carbon compact and powder steels.
