The boundary integral equation associated with the Dirichlet problem for the Laplace equation on a polyhedral domain is considered. Pointwise estimates for the kernel of the inverse operator are derived. As a consequence, the solvability of the integral equation in the space of continuous functions and in a weighted Lp-space is obtained.
