摘要
In summary, it appears that different brain regions (hippocampus, perirhinal cortex, and amygdala) within the MTL cannot easily be differentiated on the basis of utilizing different mnemonic processes associated with declarative memory, but functional specificity emerges based on the nature of the information to be processed including spatial, sensory-perceptual (eg, visual object), and reward value attributes, in addition to processing of language and temporal attributes.
