摘要：
The thermodynamics of iron reduction from electrofurnace slag by high-alumina mixture in an arc furnace is studied. The thermal balance of the reduction process is calculated. The introduction of high-alumina mixture in the arc furnace during smelting converts some of the iron from the slag to metallic form. The heat generated reduces the power consumption, shortens the smelting cycle, and increases furnace productivity. © 2014, Allerton Press, Inc.
