CAD/CAE systems in the design of numerically controlled multipurpose machine tools

摘要：
A method of generating a finite-element model for a multipurpose machine tool on the basis of CAD/CAE systems is outlined. The model permits static analysis of the machine tool at the preliminary design stage. The configuration of the machine tool affects its main characteristics: the static and dynamic elastic deformation, the thermal deformation, the pressure distribution, and the wear in mobile joints. © 2016, Allerton Press, Inc.
