摘要
Against the background of the migration movement in 2015/2016, cities such as Essen are now faced with the task of long-term integration of refugees who have a granted subsidiary protection. Successful integration is possible if participation in working life can be realized. This requires a focussed qualification of refugees and the support of companies and educational institutions through appropriate funding programs. The long duration of language acquisition prior to entry into employment is only one problem that can be solved by training-on-the-job measures. © 2018, Springer-Verlag GmbH Deutschland, ein Teil von Springer Nature.
