Two-dimensional dust acoustic solitary waves in a dusty plasma in the presence of polarization force with a nonextensive ion distribution

Two-dimensional dust acoustic solitary waves have been investigated in an unmagnetized dusty plasma model comprising of thermal electrons, nonextensive ions and negatively charged dust fluid, including polarization force effect. A Kadomstev–Petviashvili equation has been derived by using reductive perturbation technique. Expression of polarization force has been derived in the framework of nonextensive statistics. By using an orbit motion limited theory, with the help of Lambert function, the dust charge number has been obtained as a function of the equilibrium plasma parameters and dust radius. Stability of dust acoustic solitary waves has been discussed as well. Due to the ion nonextensivity, the dust charge number reduced, whereas the polarization force becomes larger. The effects of polarization force, ion nonextensivity and temperatures of electron and ion on the profiles of the amplitudes and widths of dust acoustic solitary waves are examined. It is observed that these parameters play a vital role in formation of dust acoustic solitary waves.
