Abstract: Results are presented from an experimental study of the diffraction of a superdirectional beam of surface spin waves on a weak-contrast magnon crystal formed in a film of yttrium–iron garnet using a localized spatial periodic magnetic field. Distributions of the field of the spin wave characteristic are obtained for Bragg diffraction on a magnetic lattice. © 2020, Allerton Press, Inc.
