摘要
In this paper, an ultra-thin (λo/10) single-layer wideband metasurface absorber is proposed with absorption more than 90% throughout the bandwidth from 10 to 15 GHz. The geometry of the unit cell of the absorber consists of diagonal splits in a square-shaped ring loaded with a square patch in the center. The absorber is fabricated using 35-μm copper cladding over 1.6-mm-thick FR-4 dielectric substrate. The simulated results are in good agreement with the measured results. Hence, the designed absorber is found to be applicable to recent aviation technology.
